Sounds like Phil's going to get his first go in the Pesca at Estoril next week. The (blue) car turned it's first laps today on the Bugatti Circuit. Jean-Christophe Boullion was first to drive the car before Martin took the wheel for a couple of (wet) laps. The car ran perfectly, and Shorty would appear to be one very happy man..........

So did Rollcentre's "Blue" car already have the new 5.5 Litre Judd fitted, or is that coming later?

Car looks good though, seems a slightly longer wheelbase I suppose for the 5.5 Judd and the front bodywork looks to be a little more "sharper edged".

Yes, 5.5 litre fitted. Confirmed by David Legangneux, who took the photographs on dsc.

So the Radical has been sold to Damax, and now Rollcentre have also been granted an entry to LMP2 with the radical too.......so will the LMP2 entry simply be passed/sold on to Damax?......or what?..... bit of a dimella!.....

Damax were saying they were only planning a limited LMS campaign........would the ACO be happy to see the entry passed over to Damax?......or is that taboo?

This is common practice Just to give one example: the Chamberlain-Synergy LMP2 entry (in 24LM and LMS) was sold to the Portugese ASM Team last year.

im imagining a very similar paint scheme to the 2005 dallara's, cant wait to see it in action at silverstone in september.

if anyone was at the test how much different does the 5.5 V10 sound compared to the 5.0 V10?

i 200% agree with you, nothing will ever sound as good as the 4.0 litre judd V10, first hand that was the most awesome noise ever hearing the dallara screaming towards you down the hangar straight is amazing.

the energy the old 4.0 litre V10 carried with its noise was something no other car had, not even the DBR9, zytek's and the kruse courage could compare, and they were amazing sounding car, i can still hear the zytek 04S insane backfiring on the downshifts, something i wont forget anytime soon.

It may have something to do with the fact that a certain gated field may have bought it.......

Having driven the 5.5 yesterday, I can catagorically state that it was undramatic in the extreme, almost calm, compared to the manic depravity of the 4 litre V10, and the 3.4 V8. I will miss them both.

My ears however will not.

pardon????

Care to elaborate Martin ?

Will the pin strip's be back on your pesca ? That was a nice color scheme . In fact , all your cars have a nice color scheme . You might consider holding art corses for some other teams .

Question about colors . Is the car painted or do you use fablon ? Which was a colored plastic sheet and stuck to the body , with the use of a heat gun for compound curves .

The GV4 was a magic sounding engine , one of my all time favs !!!

I just like to keep it simple, with the sponsors name the most obvious feature. We are back to blue to reflect DB colours. The black was lovely, but it would be wrong to paint the pesca in a similar theme.....however, another LMP1 car may have a similar scheme.......my lips are sealed.....

There should be a digital scheme of how the car will look on dsc shortly.

Looking forward to estoril next week.

Best fun of next week will be telling Fieldgate how warm it is in Portugal, and what a great 3 days he is missing! Still, he will be able to enjoy the delights of Paul Ricard a bit later in March.

Do be careful, Martin!

I've seen this kind of thing before. Next it'll be the 'manbag', then the jewellery, and before you can say 'Henri Pescarolo', he's down on one knee..........

Should we expect a similar livery to 2005 (see here) or more like 2004 (see here)?

Well personally, I hope its more like the 2005 livery, which I thought was very attractive. I hope all goes well at Estoril testing and I'm looking forward to the first round at Monza.

No doubt there is a thread around here somewhere but is MOTORS TV covering the LMS or have I missed the obvious?
