Why is Jones so slow?

They should have let Will Power drive.

Jones is slow because he's not very good, but Power is not available this weekend.

Why?

Will Davison is not able to race because he is racing in the Bathurst 1000 so that means Christian Jones has to race. That SUX!!!

I enjoyed the qualifiying but the time being displayed was inconsistant, sometimes it was there and other times it wasn't. That needs sorting imo.

Nice work from team France though! A well deserved pole position.

Was it me or did the stands look really empty? Brands was buzzing even on the Saturday.

In any racing series, qualifying is officially "qualifying practice".

i.e. it is a practice session which "qualifies" you for the race

Team South Africa have been struggling to set the car up over the bumps - Tomas' raw speed is not in doubt.

I was thinking that, there looked like about 14 people in the stands....

What support races were on?

AFAIK, most of the cheap ticket deals kick in for race day.

It's also very diffcult to make the EuroSpeedway look full, even with lots of people.

My God. **** off F1. A1 is where it's at! Me thinks a win for A1 team Bridlington is in order tomorrow! C'mon Khan!

What's it to be tomorrow then? 5? 6 wide into turn 1?

And a fantastic effort from Firman Jnr in quali too! Only able run in two segments and he puts it in P8!

I'd forgotten what it felt like to be this excited about single seater racing.
