It's also proof that UA are professional. Hoping that with the tighter entry regulations the BTCC becomes more professional than it has been recently without losing the club spirit and accessibility it currently has.

Given the full season entry requirements, I think a lot of drivers who might have gone down the Team Hard route will be having to consolidate their budgets since Gilham is presumably going to be insisting on full season payments to ensure they don't lose their licences.

When you say new build, do you mean new from the ground up? As it doesn't say so on that link. I assume the shell is pre-prepped with a rebuild by UA only?

Shell and roll cage will have been fabricated by GPRM I'm guessing and the car final assembly will be done by United. Putting the TOCA parts together and onto the shell doesn't take long at all.
