So whos up for getting together for some F1C sometime?

I've been getting back into F1C recently, mainly cause of the 75 demo and I remembered about starting a thread about this ages ago. Is anyone up for having a race with fellow Ten Tenthers? Any mod, I'm not too fussy...I;d like to do the 75 demo of course, but I;m not sure it supports online play. How about SCC?

Me! But right now I only have RH2003 and 2004 installed - I had to reinstall all after installing I think the Winter Test Mods and finding that half the game had stopped working then..

I wouldn't mind the odd race. I take it you mean using F1rst(?). Can someone point me in the direction of the SCC mod?

I can't get First to work. F1C's own game finding thingie works just fine anyway.

The SCC mod is here - http://download.boomtown.net/en_uk/a...ew.php?id=5444

I have downloaded the SCC mod and followed the instructions but cant get it to launch for some reason.
The cars etc are all in the folder but it wont run.
I have also downloaded the add on tracks which work ok, so i am at a loss.

I'd be up for a game at some point, preferably SCC or Prototype C... any mod is fine though as I'm slow in all of them.

Well I have F1rst going at last.

Anyway - looks like we would have a nice little grid. Maybe we should have a vote on what mod to do, and try and arrange a race for sometime in the near future?

Being from the other side of the pond, time scheduling may be an issue for me. Along with my rather erratic pesonal schedule. But if I can swing it I wouldn't mind giving it a go.
I rather like the GTS cars in SCC, but I imagine the majority race the LMP's.
I think there is an update coming for the SCC mod as well.

Anyone have a link to somewhere where I can get F1C here in the US? I've been searching everywhere for it, but the only place I've found (Amazon.com) has it selling for $130.

Have you tried Amazon.co.uk?
How come it goes for 130 bucks though?

Well, I found a copy for $35, will probably stick with that one and wait until February (hopefully will be when my computer gets upgraded) before I order it along with a steering wheel and GPL.

Oh, and somehow the one on Amazon has gone up to nearly $1,000 since the last time I visited.

I find myself driving the Corvette's more and more lately, although if I'm honest it's purely for the engine noise.

IF we were to set up a F1C "friendly league", I'd rather that all the classes were used rather than just the LMP's. There would have to be points tables for all the classes. Plus, it's far more interesting racing against a variety of cars...

Those that are new to the game or aren't as confident with their skills would race the GT class, that way they can still be apart of the action, in a more controllable car against others in same situation.

That would go right up to those that are veterans would choose the LMP 900 class. Four races in one essentially, should provide a nice turnout as all skill levels are welcomed and they all have a chance of doing well in their respective groups.

Assuming it is SCC we decide to race of course
