Swapping cars mid season

I'm just wondering what everyone thinks about swapping cars around mid season. The reason for this idea being that although the cars are the same surely there will be discrepancies in handling, braking and power.

It could be a random swap or first place goes to last place.

I don't write this because I believe France have a better car than every one. I just think it will add another level to parity.

Apart from changing he livery, would there be any major costs.

Cheers

I was wondering this myself as sometimes there are minor differences chasis to chasis would it be posible to give the chasis out randomly & just put there own body work on them. Is there much in the way of developement teams can do to these cars that couldn't be easily transfered?

It would be a very unusual thing to do - even in a one make series, and I certainly haven't heard of any of the teams asking for it

i would imagine that the only differences from car to car would the cockpit setup;seat height, distance to the pedals etc..

Whenever a driver/team starts running away in a one make series, you always get cynics (not meaning you Smurfer) saying "all cars are equal, but some are more equal than others".
Doing something like this would be very unusual, but A1 is all for trying out new things so why not?
