I'm not sure on whether the fuel strategy of the Holt car will see them get their lap back or not........ but it seems that the Morcom and Notaras cars are now too far behind the Ralliart assisted duo to have a realistic chance of victory.........

Yikes, that's a sad end to a very tough day for those guys.
Assuming the SC is out, it should make it interesting at the front...... the Quinn car wasn't too far away from putting a lap on the Alexander-mobile before..... but now it's game on with 'just' 2hrs remaining...... |

Probably. He was crossed up before the kink, hit the kitty litter and flipped. three of the rolls were completely airborn, it bounced hard a couple of times, leaving the engine/gearbox assemply and lots of other bits n the gravel.
It's in the same class as Lowndes at Calder... a truly scary shunt. |

Yeah, he got out of it and was standing next to the car for probably the best part of 10mins while the ambos put him in a neck brace. Before the stretcher.
Incredible... He ran wide through the kink, got it back, but it went into a tank slapper before tipping over and over and over. Probably the only thing I can compare it to was Glen Mason in the Suzuki, but not going over the fence and out... |
