What are your top 10 championships that race in the UK.

I wasn't sure where this should go, feel free to move it.

The championship dosen't have to be fully UK based, they just have to have visited the UK at some point in the last 3 years or so.

Mine are;

10: LMS/ILMC.
9: Superleague Formula.
8: WTCC.
7: Britcar.
6: DTM.
5: Group C/GTP.
4: A1 GP.
3: BOSS GP/EuroBOSS.
2: BTCC.
1: Dutch Supercar Challenge.

So... what are yours?

I'd query as to how many of the series mentioned in the original poster's list could be classed as being 'national and club' racing, but that is somewhat beside the point.

I think my list would be something like:

1. Formula Ford (of all types/engines/etc)
2. Formula Vee
3. Locost
4. Ginetta Challenge
5. Derek Bell Trophy
6. Minis (be it Miglias/Se7ens/Mightys/Super Mightys)
7. Monoposto
8. Formula Renault BARC
9. Euro Saloons
10. Classic Thunder

Although if the list were to be opened up to all championships/series, then British F3 would feature highly.

As I said it can be moved, I had a feeling this may not be the correct section but I didn't know where else it should go, maybe Racers Forum??

As for Classic Thunder & Euro Saloons I can only agree!

For proper club racing I would go...

10: Formula Renault BARC.
9: Monoposto.
8: GT Cup. (though it has been dissapointing as of late.)
7: Classic Thunder.
6: Ma5da Cup.
5: F3 Cup.
4: Umm... that saloon car racing championship that you can't mention on 10/10, ya know sponsered by Quaife and Motorsport News? (I'm sorry but I like it)
3: Euro Saloons.
2: Formula Ford.
1: Britcar (if that counts, if not move everything up one place and have SEMSEC Saloons at number ten.)
