Enrique "Quique" Mansilla
Does anyone know what Quique Mansilla is doing these days?
For those who are thinking "who?", Mansilla was an Argentinian who drove for Jim Russell in FF1600 in 1980, then he moved onto the works Van Diemen team in 1981, racing alongside Ayrton Senna and Gianfranco Cane, and he also had some great battles with Royale's Rick Morris. He eventually got to F2 but had an uncompetitive team/car and disappeared............ |

He surfaced briefly in CART in 85 and seemed ok, but the falklands didnt do his european career any good, i remmeber him appearing on a lost talents thread

Yes, Enrique Benamo raced in British F3 during early 1980s (I think 1982), but I don't remember with what car.
Now his son Lucas is racing in the Argentinian Formula Renault, with some success (he is the current leader of the 2004 Championship). |
