Audi Helping Bentley.

Audi Motorsport is helping Bentley out for the 2003 24 Hours of LeMans. Audi is lending its technical support to the Bentley boys for a shot to win the LeMans race.

Interesting, now this was rumoured a couple of weeks ago both on here and serveral other sites - it will be interesting to see if Mr Biela, Pirro and Kristensen pop up in a Bentley.........

I also see from the Motorsport News that they are chasing several ex F1 drivers including - Herbert, Blundell, Brundle, McNish and Letho, it looks like the current will have quite a job to keep there drives next season, but why is beyond me as over the last two years they have done a good job.........

Don't take this the wrong way, but I sincerely hope not!!!

Having just read DSC is sounds like Wallace, van Poole, Smith and Leitzinger are all out contract and may not be retained - I for one if I was sent up a sportscar team for an assult on Le Mans the first person I would sign would be Andy Wallace, as he is one the best sportcar drivers out there.

Don't forget Guy Smith! He gave up a drive this year to the Bentley reserve, the least they could do is give him a seat next year. Good to see they are committed though, if Brundle can be persuaded back they'd have no problem winning.

Sorry, but I don't see Brundle as the essential element to a victory at all. Good yes, experienced yes, but not essential.
