I see we have a 200KM race on both saturday and sunday with the saturday race starting at 17:45 and sunday 16:00, so it going to be a very long day for us trackside officials and i am wondering what they will have in place for the Flag Marshals once it gets dark which in the case of saturday will be before race start? and will the cars have illuminated numbers? could be an interesting exercise.

Portable light towers in positions where required I would think. Raced a couple of Q500's finishing in the dark, marshal points were well-lit then, was blinding for drivers in some places.

Will be a long day for you though...like a B12 hour. Will be spectacular at turn 1 and 3 with brake discs glowing.

Hi there SS,shame the GT's aren't coming, now that would make a great evening race. Yep i officiated at the B24hr's and we used battery run Fluro's with hivis paddles so will be interested to see what we end up with. the staurday race starting at 17:45 will start in the dark.
Yep turn 1 will be the spot me thinks
