Trulli looks good too... P5 and with that start system he could easily gain a few places

I'd imagine all the front runners have relatively equal fuel loads.

Well done Kimi, and especially to Mclaren. What a brilliant team, coming up with the goods after the lemon they built at the start of the season. I hope the Merc engine lasts for kimi's sake
Webbers time was good, although it shows how light on fuel he must have been when breaking the record during testing!

Imo there is a fair chance of it. Only for the last couple of races though. But still, it would give him a chance to familiarise himself with the car before 2005.

Reliability should remain the big question for the Mc tomorrow...
JB is in good position on the grid to fight for win...
RB, as usual, might be having one of those bad starts of his...
MS must put a huge effort to pass the white car, that I doubt he can...
JT must repair the damage from the last race...
JPM- his car rocks as that of Bruni...what an aero...

Stunning performance from Kimi & Mclaren. Boy am i pleased to see Kimi's position..even Ferrari guys were pleased for him.

It's been a long time we last see a smile from Ron..look at those frown-marks.

But great sector 2 and 3 time.

It seems like Mclaren is improving while Williams take their turn slipping down...

Ross Brawn looks satisfied with Ferrari's performance, and i'm curious to know the weight of the two Ferraris...still, 2nd and 4th is pretty good, and specifically well done to Rubens. Maybe a Rubens vs Kimi vs Button is on the cards tomorrow..Rubens often do well (and better than MS) at Silverstone.

Nice results for Kimi, fully deserved after all the bad run from Mclaren!

The question really has to be how on earth they'll all manage to throw away the race in order to let Michael Schumacher win it again?

Panis will start at the back.

He's been thrown out of qualifying for blocking Massa.

Good to hear that KB. That mvoe was shameful considering that they were rivalling each other. Maybe the Toyota team put him up to it.

Great qualifying session, with Kimi's lap beign truly awesome, eveyrthing his France qualifier wasn't. I think Ferrari might be slightly lighter that the other front-runners to the tune of 2 or 3 laps anyway.

A fitting result for Panis, Massa was on a pretty good lap.

A lot was said on Speed's broadcast about Sato blowing up engines, there was speculation that the team may have de-tuned Sato's engine a bit, and I am sure that when the rpm telemetry was displayed for both BAR's, Buttons max was about 18,500, Taku's about 18,200. But maybe I was imagining it.

Looks like Mac is back. The predictions competition isn't getting any easier!

Is the grid like this?

I put Panis on the 20th place in qual (even behind Fisichella) and then those engine penalties (Minardis, Fisi, Alonso) put on effect.

Raikkonen
Barrichello
Button
Schumacher
Trulli
Coulthard
Montoya
Sato
Webber
Massa
Gene
da Matta
Klien
Pantano
Heidfeld
Alonso
Panis
Bruni
Baumgartner
Fisichella

Not sure about the back fo the grid, it's goign to be very complicated to work out. I was thinking that Panis would be behind the Minardis, but he might not, and I guess Alonso would stay 16th, moving Heidfeld up 2 places.
