As for the Torino, the ACTC would have the plan to design a modern version of the "great Argentine car"

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...lbsJw&usqp=CAU
The Toyota looks like the other current TC cars.

The Camaro and Mustang look more like NASCAR. So far not a fan of this design for TC, I like the Toyota more. And if this Camaro and Mustang become reality in my opinion they should design also a new Toyota Camry.

Yes, the Camry will be also redesigned for next year (to Rossi's worries), and afaik, most of the pieces of the bodywork, lights and whatever (except were performance will be needed, like front lips) are coming directly from the road cars.
Also, rear aero will change from spoilers to actuall wings on all the new cars (Camry included)
Werner's team already has their Ford structure and they want the car on track on November, i think Catalan Magni is on the same page (both Ford teams)
The Torino here is one of various concepts that were circulating about a posible renovation for the car, Trotta and the Renault dealership asociation(Alejando Reggi) wants to be the first ones with the model, but still no actual model was shown
For Dodge, Rodolfo Dimeglio is already working on adapting the Challenger to the TC Structure and was in talks with the ACTC Techs about the needed adaptations to the chasis.
And finally for the Camaro, Las Toscas showed they have a Camaro chasis.... but is from an older gen not the one ACTC mentioned as the base (Current ZL1)

On the other side of the street the TC2000 is finally showing progress with the SUVs and showed some aero concepts, talked about the two possible engines (a 5 cyl one and a 4 cyl) and announced that the VW Nivus is already on the build stage, and the Chevrolet Tracker, Renault Captur, and Honda CRV, on top of the VW one, had the CFD calculations done.

PD: I also love the current aero shenanigans of the TC cars... but we need to advance and people want "Road car look"

ACTC Chevy chasis, but without the lateral protections (that will need modifications)

The panels are there for presentation and measurements, is not the final mounting.

And today history was made: Matias Rossi won the "Carrera de las Estrellas" on the TC and Toyota became the 6th brand in history to win a race in the oldest racing series in the world after Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Volvo and Ika-Renault.

EDIT: Also, it was a 1-2 for the TGR team, with the other new for this race Camry, from Gini, in 4th

Only for Rossi's car, now with engines by Garofalo, Jakos (and the pick ups) are still done by Agut.

(the other TC Toyota, Gini's one, has Maquin Parts in house engines, by Soljan)

The Autódromo Gálvez in Buenos Aires was fully repaved, including the turn 1 runoff area per FIA regulations. However, now they decided to reinstall gravel there...

This could be Scott McLaughlin's Chevy if he comes to run the TC race in Buenos Aires.

It all started as a back and forth on Twitter between Agustin Canapino and his IndyCar rival, Scott McLaughlin and quickly turned into a snowball that did not stop growing, referring to the TC race on August 19 and 20 in Buenos Aires, and today Ricardo Juncos at the press conference on Canapino's return to TC recognized: "It is a possibility that is latent, we will have to see what happens from here on out," said the Argentine, owner of the Juncos Hollinger Racing team.
Gustavo Lema, owner of JP Carrera, was quick to react and stated that he has a car available.

Last weekend during the Turismo Nacional race at San Nicolás, Leonel Pernia was leading but complained about a lack of power, and finished 6th.

Nobody believes him, instead he would have lifted the throttle to avoid adding more ballast weight.

  2. Leonel Pernia (Ford), 204
  3. Jerónimo Teti (Chevrolet), 202

  10. Matias Muñoz Marchesi (Ford), 127
  11. Facundo Chapur (Ford), 114

Next round is on September 3 in Buenos Aires. There's plans to race at the long number 12 layout.

The TC will race with 100* cars, and the whole grid of the f1, indy and WEC will be taking part if we believe the rumors.

*That was the plan for BS AS, with both the TC and TC Pista racing together, wiht the TC Pista with unrestricted engines, acording to some rumors
