Were it not for this thread this morning Strider, I may've forgotten about this race all together. Thanks for starting it. And, as it happens, a much better opening salvo there from young Mr. Wickens.

For some reason this meeting does seem to have slipped under the radar. Hopefully people will catch up as the weekend progresses. Brno is a great circuit and usually provides good racing.

There's a report on today's practice session here. There are some names not where one would expect, but tomorrow's last practice session before qualifying often tidies things up.

NAC - I think the girls are for the rookie sessions and it will be Jani for the racing or Buemi if Jani is not available.

Lam Pak - welcome to the forum, yeah Marchy Lee wasn't very impressive but he didn't do many laps. You must be excited about the Zhuhai round? I can't wait...

Good performance in the rookie session by John Martin for Australia.

One of the girls, Natacha Gachnang, did the rookie session if you look and was 6th fastest!

Jani is still the main man, though.

New Zealand fastest followed 4/10ths later by Netherlands, Ireland and Switzerland... All within a few hundreths.

Carroll seems to be doing just what was expected of him... I reckon he'll secure a front row and possibly pole for the Feature race!!

Disaster for IRL in final sector...Must have went off track, we were on for another second row grid slot.. Starting 18th now...see how much of a racer Carroll is now if nothing else!!!

IRL were held up by Portugal in Q4, to the extent that Adam Carroll aborted the lap. Germany's lap was rather ruined by Erik Janis, and Johnny Reid for NZL was complaining about traffic as well. Have not seen any news about penalties though.

I'm okay with that NAC. I still like the racing esp. the live feeds, that's the first two in a row. Hope it continues.
