David Owen should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
There will be drafting......

..... and lots of 2,3,4 abreast action when the Legends and 2CVs visit Cadwell Park on 31st May.

Also there are Club Ginetta and Austin Healey races.

So who is going to be there for an exciting day's racing?

I am making my first visit to Cadwell, it being a six hour drive there for me.
Talking of bacon baps, can anyone recommend a good place for a bite to eat before we all get to play with the Legends, either inside (preferably) or just outside the circuit? Also, whereabouts do we marshals park when we get there (I need to deposit a motorhome for the day.)
Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Eddie,

I will let those who are more knowledgable than me answer your questions (there is camping space and the clubhouse will be open around sign on time) but I should like to welcome you and say I hope that at the end of the day you will feel the journey has been worth it.

See you then

David

The catering at Cadwell's improving! Not too sure about the raw novice, though - may be better barbecued. . .

Always pleased to see you Richard.

Now, anyone else up for this exciting, fast paced event?

If I get back in time I'll come and watch the Legends, last time I came to watch them I ended up sat in the passenger seat with Mr Sugden driving.

If you're really stuck let me know, I could leave early. I've still got my own helmet.

Just looked on the weather forecast for Sunday....and it's going to be hot, hot, hot! Apparently that big yellow round thing in the sky that some of us have seen in summer (in the past) is going to be smiling down at us, so remember the sunscreen, chaps and chapesses.
My friend tells me that she can always tell when I've been marshalling because my writing hand is more sunkissed/windburnt than my other hand, especially when I've been lapcharting. Is that the same for Flaggies?

Hopefully not Richard, but any unexpected volunteers will still be very welcome.
