Tim Harvey
I just thought I would say that I think Tim Harvey made a good debut as commentator. Will Hoy would be proud of his efforts.
And did you know Tim is driving a Porsche at Brands? |

I thought so too. Didn't realise he was driving this weekend. Will have to keep my eyes open for him!

Tim Harvey
I saw Tim Harvey standing with Dan Eaves watching the Champ Cars at Brands.
I asked Tim, "fancy having a go?" Tim replied, "I would have to get fit for that." One of the Team Halfords guys said, "too much like hard work." Last edited by btccnews; 10 May 2003 at 12:44. |

Unlike most of the driver's, I've never seen a grumpy Tim personally in the paddock or pits. I even remember Paul O'Neill having the right hump in 2001, but put that down to the fact that the AA gridgirls assigned to his pit were actually grid boys!?
I passed Tim and David Leslie in the paddock at Mondello on the Sunday and broke my usual nonchalance and manners and interupted private time and conversation because I was on a one time mission.... I have no space and do not want signed touring car post cards or posters all around my house and my misses came up with a grand idea. With a Bank of Ulster £20 note I was on a one time mission to get as many signatures on the thing as possible. It is now proudly mounted and framed and sits subtley on a wall at home. Rather than just sign the thing, Tim launched into a conversation about e-bay and things, which really makes a difference. I felt bad enough interupting but the bloke is okay. Cheers Tim. Look forward to seeing him back on the track..... |

Tim has to be one of the nicest guys ever in BTCC and I am delighted to see him commentating.

But surely you would be better off hearing him commentate?
