no, that's what they do when someone drives into them.

and has nothing to do with the fact that I am a Verstappen fan.

I was talking about the earlier tiem you said I was bashing Ocon, wich is absulutely not true, the guy is fast, but in Pau he was also warned for "driving standards", and that's not because his driving was OK like you seem to think.

perhaps you are an Ocon fan?

Two incidents...I reckon Verstappen has done the same amount this year too. And no doubt Rosenqvist must have had incidents too in 2011.

Cars went flying, there were pile-ups... and here we go people are arguing about Ocon and Verstappen.
Would you really penalise Ocon for this? (19:30)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuRQyxHFvIY
There was clearly no big collision because someone would have crashed there at that moment.

Or this? (34:50)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_J6K6sB4dQ
Ocon braked earlier, both of them turned the same direction. This happens. Because F1 stewards completely forgot the term of "race accident" don't start blaming everyone for everything please.

In a drying but still pretty wet track, people braking earlier than in the previous lap is understandable. Also, let's not forget Ocon is 17, Verstappen is 16, they are in the learning phase. Calling Ocon the Maldonado of F3 is clearly nonsense. Especially if a Dutch person does that, no offense.

Nope, only 1 in Hockenheim

and that was braking to late , not unsafe blocking

he did get a warning flag for that, and exactly where did I compare Ocon to Maldonado?

and dismissing someones comments because he's Dutch is plain ridiculous.

Nothing new about a driver making a mistake blaming the other party. Rosenqvist crashed on the back wheel of Ocon, plain and simple.

Never said it was you. You can't help but notice the biased attitude towards Verstappen from most of the Dutch people, that's why I wrote what I wrote.

Sorry for posting, never meant to insult anyone.

Ok everyone, calm down now please we are headed towards warning or even 'points on your licence' territory with all this bickering.

Can we just debate sensibly from now on.

May be so far King is the biggest disappointment, Rosenqvist at least has his engine electronics issues, but King somehow lost a bit of pace. I expected him to be up there with Auer.
But Ocon pace wise has been spectacular, he might have had questionable defense, but it is the speed that is sooo impressive. He'll probably have a dip in his performance and his championship will depend on how he manages to recover from it. Blomqvist and Auer will be waiting

Feel sorry for Rosenqvist. This is a business, not a high school party. If he doesn't master the series his career is pretty much done.

7th straight Top 2 for ocon.

4th victory for Esteban.

6th straight pole.

If he wins this afternoon he will have a one meeting advantage over the rest of the field.

Red flag. Pathetic. It wasn't raining that bad, should've let them race and change to rain tires when they felt like it.

When did European racing turn into NASCAR? They used to let them race in the rain, but it seems these days all it takes is a few drops for the officials to poop their pants.

Amazing job from Max.

But Ocon is also up there.

They are the two mens of this year on drivers track.

Ocon could well have a 109 points lead over Blomqvist.

Van Amersfoort team is coming really really good on low downforce tracks.

I expect Max to dominate Norisring.

Good name for F1 is Max Verstappen - but so was Jos
Nonetheless, great weekend for the youngster. Why is Ocon so dominant, is he that good?

7th on Alps at 15 years old on partial season.
3rd in eurocup at 16 years old.
Top 10 in Macau at 17 years old for his first F3 race
i think that we can conclude that ocon is pretty good nah?

yes versrappen is outstanding but ocon is no slouch either.

he has double points of fuoco .

but if you want to know , why it is because he is very consistant 12 top 2 position on the first 15 races.

Well, we've arrived at the Norisring. Verstappen has taken his 4th straight win in a chaotic race 1 at Norisring, with Ocon 2nd, meaning Ocon has still only had 2 races off the podium, and 3 outside of the top 2. Rosenqvist was on pole, but ended up 6th. Race 2 is later.

The 2nd qualifying session for R2&3 is currently underway.

Autosport have posted: "This is ominous for anyone who isn't a 16-year-old Dutchman. Verstappen did five flying laps in the wet, and each one was faster than the best anyone else managed on wet-weather Hankooks. For the record, the wet times were Verstappen 57.282, King 58.665, Ocon 58.827. And it looks like it's going to rain tomorrow..."

Two poles for Max, will be trying to make it six wins in a row, too bad he had a few mechanical failures so far this season, but the season is still long and Max is setting the pace right now.

It's amazing how consistent are both Verstappen and Ocon despite their lack of experience, the others except Blomqvist have been all around the place.

Why are there red flags? What sort of madness is this? Calderon has had a minor off so far away from the track, and there is steady rain, whilst everyone is on slicks, but the lap times were going down prior to the safety car. What sort of a joke is this? Do the FIA really have that little confidence in these drivers?
