Now it is less of a joke, as the rain is falling more heavily. The FIA must be the best weather predictors on the planet. Either that or they are totally paranoid about safety. Or both...

Now Ocon has been given a drive-through after hitting Blomqvist. Harsh, but with Verstappen almost certainly about to win, this could make things interesting. It almost certainly won't, but it might...

Verstappen gets his 5th in a row?!!!! King got 2nd, ahead of Auer, Dennis and an impressive Ferrucci, who also looks like a star in the making.

Still don't know why the FIA thinks it is their responsibility to ensure the cars are on the right tyres for the conditions, that's the team's job!

It's getting to the point now that all that excitement I felt growing up watching the sport knowing there's a chance a race might start dry and become wet (or vice versa), is being replaced by a sense of dread that the race I'm enjoying might not start or be stopped if its started.

It's like being a fan of American oval racing, or Speedway/cricket or something.

Max the new rainmaster? Impressive laps in wet conditions, drive through for Ocon a bit harsh but that wasn't the first time this season he has driven into a fellow competitor...

Come on, this is the FIA! They have no faith in anyone outside of Formula 1!

No idea, but perennial FR2.0 frontrunner Steijn Schothorst is set to make a cameo, and Verstappen will be there I believe...

This makes only 2 cars on the grid, What i know is this year they will use F308-F311 Cars for logistic problem with Moscow race of FIA F3 European.

Eurgh......the Moscow Raceway. Having massively enjoyed the racing in FIA F3 over the last two rounds, and endured the FR3.5 and 2.0 races in Moscow last weekend, I sense some dull racing coming on

Anyone know why only the top two British teams, Carlin and West-Tec are going to Moscow?

SOmebody at one of those told me any travel difficulties are much exagerated (sp?) and no more difficult than any other races to get to.

Seems like RR, Tsport and Fortec, along with Zeller aren't going.

I believe it is true...

...Ocon has restored his dominance with R1 pole, ahead of King, who is coming on strong now.

Well, seeing as nobody else seems to bother with results, it turns out, hidden away in the most remote parts of Russia, some French guy called Esteban Ocon ended up winning all 3 races from pole, with Jordan King, Tom Blomqvist and Max Verstappen sharing the 2nd places

Title challenge is almost done.

Ocon is just so consistant.

Ocon will reach safely the 500 points mark, while Verstappen has to score 60 points per meeting to reach the mark. In the last 4 meetings Verstappen had a 48.7 points per meeting. While Ocon had 53.7 points average per meeting.

An F1 move is not excluded for Ocon next year according to Autosport. Mclaren and Lotus are looking at him. Even if Gp2 seems more likely.

I doubt Ocon will be in F1 next year, but maybe in 2016 with GP2 silverware under his belt (although being a Lotus-junior, FR3.5 is just as likely an option, with French management and all that)

Well Ocon has been invited by Mercedes GP to come at German Gp.

When french journos asked why he tried to avoid the question just by saying that he was focusing on F3.

I would'nt be surprised if he was part of the deal between Lotus and Mercedes.

As i would not be sirprised to see Merhi or Juncadella in a Force India next year.

But of course Gp2 or 3.5 are more likely.

yes of course max is more impressive as he is coming from karting.

But what should you expect more from Ocon right now?

We should remember that this F3 year from Ocon is quite special.

Winning All races, setting all pole position and fastests laps just because he has two more years of car racing?

Just to refresh Ocon has scored more than points Marciello in his 3rd year of F3 and roughly the same number of points as lewis hamilton in 2005 if we take the points from 2005 in the 20 first races of the year.

Hamilton in 2005 : 172 points ( 4th year of Car racing, 2nd year of F3)

Ocon in 2014 in the first 20 races with 2005 points system : 160 points ( 3rd year of Car racing, 1st year of F3)

Marciello in 2013 with the 2005 point system: 149 points ( 4th year of Car racing, 3rd year of F3)

Jamie Green : 139 points ( 3rd year of Car racing, 2nd year of F3)

We cannot be sure.

There is Max Verstappen on the road

As we can see with Di Resta, Vergne or jan magnussen it is not a guarentee of success.

But still if he has the right state of mind and the right people i don't see why he would not succeed.

I don't think it's a matter of speed but state of mind in a racing team.
