Well our hillclimb season has started on the east coast of the USA. I like to let you know that Pikes Peak isn't the only hillclimb over here. We have a good 3 hillclimb series developing in the southeast along with 4 track time trials.

My first 2008 event went well in that I got my first King of the Hill overall win last weekend at the Wolf Ridge Hillclimb up in the Blueridge mountains of western North Carolina. The current record holder, George Bowland and his BBR Shark, had gone north to Pennsylvania and left the door cracked for me and my old Caldwell D9 to have a shot at first OA. With 50 entries and 4 other FF1600s, a FF2000, the winner of the 2008 Cannonball One Lap of America, and the former hill record car from the famous Chimney Rock Hillclimb. I was lucky enough to steal my first overall win in over 12 years of hillclimbing. Here are the results:
