Motorbase have the capability of running a third car, yes.
If all goes to plan, a third car MAY appear during the season, when they feel the time is right!

Also made a slip. I also heard 'Team AFM' may enter a second 120 later in the season?

Well, I'll leave all that till the next update. A lot of the BTC Racing, Pinkney stuff is due to be announced shortly.

There are still some interesting irons in the fire - I'd love to see Dave Pinkney in an Alfa 156 especially. Any word on who might drive the second Motorbase car - Tom Ferrier?

To contest is a bit of a strong phrase to use! From my quick look at his website it would appear he is no where near "contesting" the series just yet.

So what if hes the first? I hate how people always have to bring race into it. When we have our helmets on, we are all the same. So for once, it shouldn't matter at all about race, so just don't say anything about it.

People are saying the same about Lewis Hamilton and F1. I was just curious.

Not sure if his website explicitly mentions his background, but I can't help being slightly cynical that he might be trying to use it to his advantage to gain sponsorship - and perhaps give him something specific to complain about if he doesn't get any. From his CV he's nowhere near ready for the BTCC, but then I was convinced that Chilton was just a rich kid having fun at daddy's expense, and he's now a proven star.

Has there been any renderings of what the Honda livery will look like. Will it have any Honda stickers on it? Or will it be a traditional Halfords paint-job?

Tim Dunlop should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi there,

Attended the general test at Donington this morning for an hour. Not much BTCC action with only Mike Jordan (Integra) and Matt Jackson (BMW) out on track but nice to see the pre season preparations are starting to gather pace.

Highlight of the day for me though had to be this: -

Was not really into BTCC back in the days when this was winning races, superb to see it back on track and I am so pleased I was able to get some shots of it.

Does anyone know what race / series this car is competing in this year ?

Regards

Tim

God, ST cars are so awesome. If only the costs were regulated, then we could still have had those beautiful things.

Hi there,

Yes I do have a website ( www.dunlopix.com ) I am currently in the process of redesigning my site so there is not to much content on it at the moment.

I will post a link to the pages with all the Donington pictures on later this week, I also have some that I took at Oulton Park last week.

Regards

Tim
