I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned here and i guess it gets seen by very few Aussies in it's correct location, so here's a link.

I'm really looking forward to this!

I've assessed the entry list as usual and have set my goals for the weekend. I usually come up with a number which relates to my finishing position in the last race, but this time after reviewing the list of names, I've revised my goal to being survival in a straight condition.

That's a good goal and one i hope we all sure. Motor racing is not a contact sport.

I'm hoping to make the top 40.

I am sure that as they say, when the flag drops (lights go out nowadays I guess).....

I am sure David x2 will be doing their best as usual and will be in there fighting. Hopefully not too much rubbing....

Anyway, wishing you both all the best, and looking forward to the event like no other. A great entry list though for the Group A & C guys, and one replicated in tquality in all categories from my understanding.

PS, good luck also to Jervis Ward, indeed all competitors in all categories, heading to the Island for what is to me the best weekend of Aussie Motorsport you can go to.

Spent yesterday at the Southern Loop, the weather was great and so was the action on the track. Hopefully David Towe escaped the weekend unscathed, he had a spin in front of us and it appeared nobody hit him (didn't see whether there was any assistance in the spin itself!). Hightlight of the day would have to be split between the sound of the Lancia Stratos, the speed of the Veskanda and the close dicing a the front (and middle etc) of most classes. One of these days I'll get down there for Sat & Sun again. Haven't had a chance to look through my photos yet, but will post some if I have any decent ones (as opposed to bortall's excellent shots).

Carter-Nelson should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi,
we had a great time at PI, the No. 47 Escort (group C) was awesome for its 2nd timeout in 30+ years. I ticked another bucketlist item by racing door handle to door handle with Bob Holden and finishing in front.
Not sure if there are any photos of the Escort, please post or PM, I'd love to see them.

Thanks also for posting the other photos, one problem when in the car you miss seeing the others going around...I know, its not a bad problem to have....

Highlights of the Phillip Island Historic this Tuesday night on In Pit Lane. Includes the Sportscars, F5000 and others, Group S, the Maserati 250F threesome, and John Mann's last race (so he says)
Also tomorrow night our guest is Australian Grand Prix CEO Andrew Westacott.
Coming up we'll have an extended coverage of PI on "easter" Tuesday.

Can you please put the video for this one on the podcast or the youtube channel? I had to miss this, under great duress, and would love to see (and hear) what I missed.

Cheers
