Hi ian

Good questions!

I have a feeling that some of these 80's 'Fiesta's' may have been the same basis as the Starlets, I.E. upgraded hotrods chassis?

Space-frame chassis weren't allowed in TS, and I think the mid-80s was seeing the switch to semi-space-framed on the ovals.

I'm not sure about the Grimer car ottomh (i probably have the info somewhere) but at least one of the Fiestas was built by Sonny Howard (later of Eurocars, where a lot of the TS class B drivers ended up). Paxman and Field's Fiesta had a 2100 BDX. I can only find reference to those two and one for Phil White and Reg Gange.

It would be nice to find some more pics . I will carry on doing dome digging.

Thank you

Hi mate!

Are you going to bring the Fiesta out in Special Saloons? Be great to see you if you are - should be back from Afghanistan in a fortnight so will be entering a few before the end of the season...

Regards,

Frodo
