Pretty gutted as shifting Silverstone and Spa 24 back a week probably means I can make neither race.

Was hoping next year would be my year for the 24.

Lots of news for next year

Callaway likely to run car in 2014 before offering it to customers in 2015. Status of GT/GT+ might affect the car for 2016 and beyond.

Callaway should modify the bodywork and sell it as their own model once GT converges.

Callaway would probably do well just taking P&M built GTE C7.Rs and modifying them for GT3, once the rules converge they can continue to sell non GT+ C7s.

I think you don't understand what GT convergence will do. It's going to eliminate GTE AND GT3.

Problem is the 5.5 litre engine on the GTE is not a production based one I suppose? So it's not homologated to the GT3 regulations.

They can always get the C7.R from P&M sans engine and whatever other bits they'd need to replace if such a deal could be struck (Callaway doing GT3 then base GT with new rules while P&M does GTE then GT+).

2014 Monza round will be together with the World Series by Renault if the calendar will be confirmed.. Too many cars for the pit boxes (i think the capacity is around 65 cars)..

No surprise, good luck to him but hope to see him back. Are there any clashes with N24 or Spa?

Luv that homemade JAG while no factory car is there, it gives variety to the series machines and personallity to that team (and a jaguar machine to JAG fans).

Such a good news.

Let's see what Ratel says. Last year after Spa he was upset with the presence of works teams, the Silverstone Aston Martin and the Manthey Porsche at Spa.

I can't say I totally understand why, in a Pro/Pro-Am series like this. They compete against other Pro teams, which surely revel in the competition, and the Ams competing in a separate class don't experience any direct effects. Everyone wins. If he wants to be annoyed about 'works' teams, he should probably also throw a fit about the WRT Audis, but...

Agreed, you can't stop the works teams from entering, can just stop them entering under their own name. Works support is prevalent throughout and will be if the manufacturer wants to support it.
