Big blisters on hands
Every time I race karts I get huge blisters on my thumbs (mainly my right) and at the base of the thumb.
I wear racing gloves (Sparco GP's) but It still really hurts after. |

Alternatively, you should change hands after 100 strokes.
No, seriously do you lock your thumbs around the wheel when you grip it? If so, don't! If you hit something it could pull the wheel out of your hands and the spokes of the wheel will break your thumbs as they spin around. Try keeping your thumbs on the outside of the wheel, parallel to your other fingers. It will feel uncomfortable at first, but it's the right way. |
