With the two round dropped system, if you chose not to go, and you have a DNF elsewhere that could be your championship up the swanny.

I'm sure people are for it - so hopefully an interesting debate can ensue?...

but would like brands, silverstone, snetty, oulton, rock, donnington and of course the best track on the uk calender Croft

Surely for a Northern Championship it would make sense to have rounds at the following circuits:

Croft
Knockhill
Cadwell
Oulton
Donington

Looks like a bloody good calendar to me.

Dan Im sure we could start a whole new thread on circuits we should visit LOL
I was hoping to have an open debate on Ireland - Is it really a possibility a deal could be done whereby the total cost of an away race weekend (about £500 for me including entry fees and race / van fuel food etc) could be maintained with a trip to Ireland?
Then there is the extra travel time and subsequently extra time off work required.

UPDATE
Winter Challenge 16th & 17th November Rockingham
Who is up for defending our Title of "Inter Championship Champions"
1 x 20 Minute Qualifying and 2 x 20minute Races £295.

To save costs for competitors the BARC Challenge will now be on Saturday only so people don’t need to be there for two days if they don’t want to be
If anyone wants to stay for the second day there is one qualifying and two races for all-comers and your guys are welcome to stay and take part if they would like to do so for an additional £120
Hopefully all competitors will be in the inner paddock so there should not be anyone left out in the cold outer paddock but we will need to exclude private cars from the inner paddock
Rules for the challenge remain as previous with points for places in the classified positions and the lowest combined total from the two races being considered the winners

Entry form now available on NSSCC page
Send entry form to Steve Gibson and Cheque Payable to DDMC

The Honda Vtec challenge have just released there race calendar for 2014, racing in collaboration with the Classic Touring Car Racing Club, this will see the Honda VTEC Challenge running alongside the CTCRC Pre 2005 Series.

wow is this what the NSSCC could look at doing?
IE race at spa for example
I hope we can discuss stuff like that at the drivers meeting when it happens

steve

When they say running "alongside" do they actually mean sharing a grid with? Both these series struggle to get into double figures - not a problem NSSCC suffers from!

I didn't mean the NSSCC run in the same race (I don't know if the Hondas will run in the same race as the CTCRC) I mean run at the same events, for example lots of English drivers at spa that weekend why cant we also run at the same event

And yes the Hondas are sharing a grid with one of the ctcrc struggling grids ! Why the Hondas want to have there own championship is beyond me !!

Andy I was think more along the lines of the likes of Donnington which isn't too far away and if we are going to Ireland then would spa not be a better bet, I didn't mean follow all of there dates/venues just pic the odd good one. like Donnington /spa for example
i'm all for keeping it northern but don't mind the odd bit of travel if the event warrants it.

Seriously considering it Ashley is there any 2014 dates out yet?
Also what class would it be in or is there an invitation class and do I have to refit my headlights if its a one off drive? Although it might lead to more
