Speaking of the incident itself, the flagman was really far from the track. These Argentine tracks should have guardrails closer to the track outside of runoff areas in corners. And there should be two flagman posts on the braking spots, about 20 meters from the white line.

The thing was... it was a caution for a slow car, and was over before the pass.
Nobody but, aparently, Ciantini saw that, he comunicated it to the JP team.

The JP team did the protest as late as they could to limit Landa's push.
He lost the race by .400 seconds, the penalty was 5 seconds, his rythm was faster than anyone.
A few laps earlier and the penalty would have been a non issue.

It was a mistake by the race officials not seeing the issue at the moment
It was, in my view, a mistakenly applied yellow for that sector, it should have been a white (slow car) or a blue (let the car behind pass), in fact, there wasn't an announcement of a yellow sector on the race at the moment.
And finally, it was a really cunning move by the JP Carrera to delay the protests till the final part of the race so Landa will be without too many options.
At least (even if this wasn't good) it wasn't a "After the race" thing.

It was a bit of a mess (especially the first chicane) but it provided really good racing, looked fast without being a high speed circuit, so it was a succes.

There are rumours of the TN going there later in the year, so there will be a big push for the bodyshops in the area

The ACTC regularly tells drivers they can drive outside the track, so it's no surprise.

Lambiris and other drivers were forced off track (or off-pavement) a few times, and I think that kind of moves should be penalized. To me, any driver in any circuit series should leave room for any rival on their sides.

In Long Beach, Pato O'Ward dive bombed on Dixon and pushed him to the tyres. That should be penalized too.

The current rules actually enforce that, they're the only ones in Argentina where the driver on the inside must leave at least enough space for the ones on the outside.
The debate is always "how much is enough"
Mangoni was given a reprimand for his maneuvers against Lambiris, so it was less agressive against Santero

Then there is the chicane, the drivers asked for it to be done like it was finally done, it worked, but generally i'm against those things.
The ACTC needs to learn that not every corner needs to be done at 200 km/h, the cars can actually brake and corner really good.

There were really hard days for the argentine racing scene lately with the pasing of Tito Urretavizcaya (former TC and TC2000 driver and the ACTC pace car driver) and Alex Conci (TN Class 2 Driver) both after traffic accidents.

In the case of Tito, his accident (65) was almost 2 months ago in his motorcycle and was at the hospital since then.
While Alex (27) had a crash last sunday near Cordoba.
