Well, I know exactly what Emile is talking about but not sure what it is doing on this thread, so I wonder if he is answering a post on another thread (which I have yet to find). If you get back in here Emile, let me know and I'll transfer the posts over!

Did you know, that shooters were employed to shoot carrier pigeons on the south coast during the war?

Didn't think you were that intimidated by me Iain!! However, it would be good to carry on in the Tea Break thread as suggested by p261brm. I would normally split the last 3 pages off in to that, but since the whole conversation is spread over 3 years and would actually start that thread off (!), I'll leave it here.

Dinkel = Albert Mensinga

I needed a name on Pistonheads - 10 years ago, how time flies - and choose Dinkel as it's the street my house is at. At the time I thought I filled in a password. Oh well, early days of forum participation.

Only very few peeps call me Dinkel or Dinks . . . They need to be persistent as chances are I don't respond to it

since we're back on track -
Bigvalveelan = Paul Tooms

I'm an engineer with BP, race an Elan primarily in HSCC roadsports. Started racing 5 years ago as I suddenly realised how old i was - best thing I ever did.

Proud to say my car will be on display at Stoneleigh and I'll be there on the Friday. Also building a 26R (GTS) which should be on track sometime soon...

Nothing to hide!
