Tyres?

I have just bought a car with 235/45 R17 Sava Intensa tyres. Has anyone got any info on them? I read 1 review that gave them 9/10 for handling, 10/10 for durability and 10/10 for value (about $170 each) at Bob Jane T-Marts. Although Bob Jane's recommended Xenon Z1's at about the same price. Any thoughts and recommendations.

They are the sort of cheapy tyres that are often included in tyre & wheel packages. I don't know much about them (don't have tyres that size) but there would be a lot better options out there, depending on how much you wanted to spend. Feedback I have seen is generally that they are not that bad, wear well but not great grip in the wet

Just a note on the Sava Intensa's. I thought they were near new, but I spoke to my son-in-law from whom the car was purchased and it appears they have at least 30,000k's on them, so tyre wear seems to be quite impressive. They are also very quiet.

Xenon Z1 is a "house tyre" for Bob Jane so you can see why they recommend them. Haven't seen much about them.

Yes John, they are called the Bob Jane Xenon Z1. The Sava Intensa is also sold by Bob Jane but I am curious as to why they would recommend the Xenon.
