was anyone else as disappointed with the show as we were. seems like i spent £14 to see six friends, buy two dvds, glimpse David Coulthard and nothing much else! very, very disasapointing compared with previous years.

Funnily enough, we came away with the same impression.
And the F1 Party - done it, not going again. |

I know BARC's reason - insufficient income drawn from the show. The organisers were asking an awful lot of money, and you have to get a hell of a lot of driver sign-ups to cover it. Management obviously took the decision the money could be better used within the club itself.

I didnt see too many race cars myself. Forget about the F1 grid and the Autosport stand. Very lacking though-those 2 girls on that mobile phone stand kept interest up! Fortunately got to speak to Eklund etc (snapped with their cars)and all so that was interesting and also spent some time with the Ingear Mag' boys. Looked like they were very busy which is great news. Must take a video camera next time for "better home viewing!"

I agree.I went on Sunday and the place was deserted compared to recent years. Perhaps this is a sign of more economic problems affecting the sport?

My guv'nor decided not to go this year as he said the expense didn't bring in sufficient orders to warrant going, guess it's like a lot of things to do with motorsport, you need big bucks to play the game.
