I noticed on the second crash that there was a touring car like VW running at the same time as FRenault and FFord type cars. Is that allowed? Doesn't seem very sensible to have closed and open wheel cars running together on the same track.

actually those things are pretty common in non-official testing

At most general test days you can pretty much have anything on track. At Donington the other week there were Euroboss F1 cars, Formula Fords, BTCC cars and Clio Cup cars etc all out together.

Steve, everyone

I just thought I ought to say that we probably need or want to avoid 'ghouling' as I call it over shunts and stuff.

I appreciate there's a case for discussion should something have been amiss at a given test or meeting but I (and i'm sure I speak for Bella and Stephen too) don't want to encourage links to videos of people having unfortunate shunts just for the so called 'wow' factor as people often get hurt as we al know!!

Please can everyone bear this in mind for the future.

Ta!!

That was a very big crash! I was there, had some pictures of the crash!
Jesse Laine's rolbar was very far in the ground, so we
(1 other Photographer, the guy who made the movie, 1 Marshall and i)
had to push the car back on his wheels!

More pictures are at my "blog", www.justinautosport.web-log.nl

Sorry voor the big size of the images

Alex K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Double that chunterer, especially close-ups of shaken lads shouldn't be posted imo. Those crashes weren't ife threatning anywayz. There is a forum where you can find all crashes you want, inc. fatalities... wouldn't want to watch all that on 10-10s.

In September went to Doni for general test day, we had everything from F3 through CLIos, BRITCAR classes, BTCs, GTs, NGTs... all the way down to PURE historic class cars, and I've got pics to prove it... General test day...
