fbmw deserves macau and the relation macau to bmw is high and profitable. they tried to make a point, and the point was simply good.

i am sure macau teams (ao and art) will line up and many teams from europe and america will fly over to race in the best street track in the world.

META4 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
i guess the condition to see European teams at Macau GP would be that somebody pay the bill for them (BMW) or they can find some cars for rent in Asia (probably around 20 FBMW have been sold in Asia...)

For your information only 10 cars entered the First races of the FBMW America and about 15 in Asia, we cannot say that is really a success compare to FR2000

afaik asia fbmw isnt a sucess cause the last year case when jazeman was champion was a cheated car. every body knew meritus was cheating and no one stop them. it was an obstacle to sustainable development, with the potential to enlarge championship numbers and breed organization asia.

meta4: what makes you against fbmw in macau?

I just think FR2000 is far better car then F Bmw in general talking , i think you will not dissagree with me

And i think there is a better potential of drivers who are interested to drive at Macau in Fr2000 than F Bmw

FR2000 is not a better car. It is cheaper and faster but not better. FBMW is built to F3 safety standards, therefore it is more expensive but at the same time safer. For junior drivers learning their ropes around a street circuit, it is definitely safer to race in FBMW than FR2000.

Also for FBMW drivers around the world looking to move up to F3, Macau will be a good opportunity to showcase their talents and make contacts with the world's best F3 teams in Macau.

So is FR2000. Both cars are about as old so I believe they there originally designed to match 2000 FIA F3 safety rules. I have understood that FR updates are not aerodynamical only, but also make it to match newer F3 safety standards.

Quote:
In all, 18 drivers will contest the two rounds in Singapore, including guest drivers Ollie Millroy (18/GBR), a Formula BMW Europe Junior driver, Marco Sorensen (18/DEN), and Asad Rahman of the United Arab Emirates (17), all racing with Motaworld Racing, a team making its Asian debut. Motaworld Racing will contest the final three rounds of Formula BMW Pacific in Singapore and Macau, as well as at the 2008 Formula 1™ Sinopec Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai in October. Millroy and Rahman just finished contesting their first season in Formula BMW Europe.

Other guest drivers include the Indonesian duo of Rio (15) and Ryan Haryanto (15). The pair are entered by Pacific Racing, a team new to the series but no stranger to racing in the region. Team principal Ng Wai Leong is a former Formula Asia 2000 Champion and is highly respected in Asian karting circles.

Joining three series-registered Meritus drivers in Singapore will be Romanian Doru Sechelariu (16/Mahara). Sechelariu just completed his first season of Formula BMW Europe, finishing 15th overall after the series’ 16 rounds.

For Shanghai and Macau we can't forget Macau based Ao's Racing, they have entered last two events in 07 and taken serval wins with current ATS F3 front runner Saavedra. They may join the party this year also.

Moreover Macau based Sa Sliva should have done the deal to Pacific racing for Macau. They are contacting 4th driver AFAIK.
