Westysprinter should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
If you want to race you put an entry in. I've only finished 4 rounds, still put an entry in, worst that could happen would be non acceptance. and guess what I'm in :-)

Andy you keep going on about clarity but it's been clear from the start of the season, even before the first round! It was stated that the top 4 from each class after round 12 would be given priority on entries for the last round. How much clearer do you want?

Just for clarity, shouldn't you be running in Class A1 with that wing on your BM?

My take on this is that Big Andy might have mis understood it but as far as I can see no one has actually helped him.

Posters have repeated the regs but not tried to explain exactly what he was asking.

Roadboy you put a wink on the end of your comment about the wing but not everyone understands these things.

Maybe people should make it plain who they are so they could talk to each other in the paddock?

Just read the post from TrackScotland on the previous page where he says:

"you were a friendly bunch. I'll be back"

I'd agree 100% you are a friendly bunch so please stop this arguing on here.
.......................

For clarity I'm the old git with a beard that helped Mark Benson & Rich Ralston with their Clio in 2010/11 - sadly not been able to get to any races this year......but I'm working on coming up for the last race of 2012.

Best wishes to all in with a shout of the title - anyone care to post who they are, I've looked at the points table and being old/thick I can't work it out!

Andy, about your rear wing the class b rules seem a bit vague

" Aerodynamic wings may not be fitted except for homoligated or series production items for that specific vehicle"

it doesn't say how specific ie bmw m3 or bmw m3 GTR

so they way I read it yours is ok as the rule isn't clear enough

looking forward to this week end just a shame we don't have split grids, i've fitted a new engine wiring loom to try and solve the missfire and also 2 stage boost so that if the miss returns at the flick of a switch I can reduce the boost from 32 to 20 and still have full throttle and no missfire so it should be easier and quicker with the miss, not fixing the problem but it will get me to the end of the season and a full rebuild..

As per last year there will be a one-day race meeting at Rockingham organised by BARC on Saturday 10th November. A Sports and Saloon Challenge along the lines that we did last year between the NW, SE and Welsh and our Championships.

The cost will be £2,000 per team of eight competitors from each of the regions so £250 per car for one 20 minute qualifying and two 20 minute races which would normally be priced at £350 per entry so a realistic price reduction offering, I believe, good value for money.

Can we muster a team of eight?? If there is more interested we could take a couple of extra entries to make 34 in total, the figure on the track licence.

Please let me know as soon as possible. First come first served.

Not entered as I'm recovering from an operation, but I might try and pop over and cheer you all on.

Good luck to all those in the championship race and keep it on the black stuff everyone.

That concludes 2012 Congratulations to Bill Addison and well done everyone else. Hoping that the 2012 Championship has been enjoyable for all and we now start looking towards where we are going to race in 2013.

I think that needs to stay behind closed doors for those that need to know, people on the outside can only make assumptions....

Wouldn't say we were on the outside, we run the MX5 Turbo in the championship. Couldn't make this round due to engine trouble.

Just interested to know what happened in a championship in which we compete, PM me if you want.

Cracking vid Andy, that m3 is a real flyer.

If your points aren't awarded due to judicial, are you allowed to drop that score?

No, you can't drop disqualified result. Wouldn't be much of a punishment if you could.

I wasn't there but were events really bad enough to warrant disqualification? Seems pretty extreme.
