India announcement here as well as on the A1GP website - http://www.headlinesindia.com/sports...ason-1694.html

Funny how Ebrahim is suddenly making his debut again, this franchise seems to not recognise the old India franchise at all, although frankly I don't blame them!

This India team that we've had since last season under Andaleeb Sehgal is the most professional in A1GP I believe, with a PR department and commercial backing. Some of the other teams should follow India's lead and have a launch such as this.

I see the Doornbos news is on the Dutch team website but not on the main A1GP website yet. Perhaps they will put it on there tomorrow to have two news stories over two days - that would suggest A1GP PR do know what they are doing. Good news to NED here, they have a strong lineup.

Morad for Lebanon - so the rumours were true. Looks like even if you participate in a race weekend for one nation, you can switch to another .

Funny enough, no mention of Morad's Canada drives in the article about him being chosen .

http://www.a1gp.com/News/NewsArticle.aspx?newsId=42050 There we go - now they mention Canada and clarify the rule - you can only RACE for 1 nation, even if you test or practice for others.

(This isn't technically true, of course, as Italy's Enrico Toccacelo drove for Pakistan in season 1 at Durban as an emergency replacement for Adam Khan - however it was agreed that Enrico couldn't score any points )

Pretty sure that I read sporting regulations in season 1 that stated you can only race for one nation but practice sessions don't count. That was my interpretation anyway.

A1GP are obviously wary of criticism on this, they over-explain his eligibility! As his father was born in Lebanon I think it is pretty clear he is eligible.

Lots of announcements these couple of days and the field is taking shape.

China has named it's strongest possible lineup, with Cheng Congfu continuing and Ho Ping Tung returning. Like NED these two strong drivers should keep each other on their toes.

I wish A1GP would follow even more of a team approach with different drivers having to do the sprint and feature, would take away some of the criticism that A1GP does not attract the best drivers from each country. Would mean Pakistan would need to bring Nur Ali back though...

Lotterer for Germany is very likely. Also Willi webber is not heading the team any more. ADAC is.

Not sorry to see Weber go, he only really used the team as his personal toy to raise the profile of the drivers he manages, i.e. Hulkenberg and Vietoris, without doing anything to promote A1GP in Germany.

Earl Bamber is hoping to get more seat time following his rookie sessions last year, but I think Van der Drift has better credentials.

ADAC now holds the franchise interesting ( It's the German Car driver/ owner club, Algemeiner Deutscher Automobil Club if I am not mistaken).

On one hand Chinese people count overseas Chinese as Chinese, but then Ho Pin Tung is Dutch? You can't have it both ways!

Nope. Autosport.nl phoned ADAC, and they deny having the seat now.. Willy Weber is still seatholder, but won't enter a team this season

I know this isn't related to A1GP at all, but I think Herr Weber is kind of busy right now...
