Rockingham 2nd Nov 2002
Do you want to put something back into Motorsport ?
We are very short of trackside Marshals for the Rockingham meeting on the 2nd November. If there is anybody that would like to help out then please let me know ? For all National B licence holders then this can be included in your 10 signature for your upgrade. Methinks this is in the wrong place, and may just be aimed at drivers?
You know us Marshals, take, take, take... |

Yeah, selfish buggers that we are - all that spending our own money buying kit/travelling and standing around in the rain in our spare time.
We should be ashamed! Last edited by EvilPumpkin; 29 Oct 2002 at 08:56. |

To be fair it is posted in another forum as well. Anyhow, I'll be freezing my round things off at Brands this weekend nobly assisting the BRSCC to make loadsadosh

Not only is this posted on forum's, I've just had it e-mailed direct to me as well. Strange how whenever I ring up the office to ask if they're short-handed for any meetings I always get the cold shoulder....

Maybe it goes to show how real the shortage of marshals is!

Actually tried alternative therapy on Saturday, called a 2-hour 15-car radical race. VERY mind-numbing.
If I think about it now, it has pretty much the same effect... |

Seriously though, on Rescue we welcome longer races as it ensures a decent amount of uninterrupted sleep! |

Somehow I suspect that there won't be much time for sleep at that particular meeting! Still, there won't be much chance to stand still and get cold either!
