I see. And also, I'm glad that Super GT's stance of not putting DRS and having multiple tire manufacturers is a good thing!

Still, I wish Super GT needs to open up a little like having "Joker" or wildcard aero development once per season.

Tetsuji Tamanaka says that team MACH (#5) will introduce new chassis next season. Mother chassis GT-86?

That's weird... Are they downsizing for next year, trading the GT-R GT3 car for another GT86 Mother Chassis?

Not only Team MACH, but some teams like Cars Tokai Dream 28 are trading for the Mother Chassis.

Less GT3s and more actual GT300s the better in any case.

Not that the mother chassis cars are anything like the actual GT300s of yesteryear...

I don't know if the GTA mandates teams to use the Nissan-spec engines when using the mother chassis.

If allowed, some wealthy teams can buy engines like Judd, BMW, and Toyota. Otherwise, they'll stick to the GTA-spec Nissan engine.

there we go, #194...be interesting to see how it compares to the other GT300/FIA-GT3 cars in a proper racing weekend...looking at it from this angle really makes me wish theyd kept the wheelbase extention to a more reasonable amount (like the R&D Sport BRZ)

well fingers crossed then...seeing as the car is quite obviously backed by Toyota now, i cant see any good reason why it should be running a spec engine, unless the regs dictate they have to (which is a terrible reason )

1:42.648 Q lap for the new Toyota mother chassis (without extra ballast), while the pole time for GT300 is 1:34.807. Must've been an issue as they did 1:35.956 in practice, which would've been P17 in Q instead of P21

Actually the car wasn't disqualified or excluded. It's time has been deleted.

Thanks!

Anyways, I won't be surprised if the Petronas RC-F will win this race... But, I'm expecting BMW to have a 1-2-3 finish on the GT300 class.

Nakajima and Rossiter wins again! With Krumm and Sasaki in second and Yasuda and Oliveira in third, I expected Team TOM'S to have an one-two finish this race.

Hoshino and former gamer Lucas Ordonez won this race in GT300. This is Ordonez's first win in the series. The BMWs got a 2-3-4 in this race, which I've expected that they will get a 1-2-3 finish.

Rossiter now leads the GT500 championship. If he wins again at the grand finale he's the champion!

Looks like the Petronas RC-F made another win at Buriram. As for GT300, seems that the B-Max GT-R hold on to claim victory against the BMW Z4 trio!
