Just got back home. Had to stop off in Troyes for a meeting. What a wonderful Spa. Iain and I have been going there for over 12 years and I cannot remember enjoying myself more. Wonderful to meet Cliff, Mike, Gordon (and his charming wife and friends), 2 pints of Larkins, Eddy V and especially Mr & Mrs McKay. Colin and his wife had to put up with me all weekend and all I have to show for it is one photo:

I don't think that HD will work in Windows Movie Maker .

It's a quick time movie file, I've found a programme to convert it to avi so I'll try tomorrow. That video is HD and it came out the camera as an avi file.

We had a similar problem with some Go Pro HD footage, needed a very late Win 7 laptop to get it to read, my older PC and laptop on 7 didn't want to know. iPad should read it if you have a connector.

WTF you 3 talking about.....

Thanks Marcus for posting your video! Ive now been round Spa in an M1B. Looked about 2:45?

However, do think that if you want to appeal to the 'yoof' market perhaps a bit more oppo and tyre smoke- even the odd spin- would be good!

I don't know if you can update Windows MM with later codecs, and even handle HD ? I use a more sophisticated editing suite.

I used to use Pinnacle but it's an old version and never worked that well so Movie Maker will do unless I can find a shareware version of a decent programme

Been there, done that (last year), add bits of bodywork spread around and steam coming out of the radiator - I am now very careful out of the Bus Stop!

Watching the film one has time to look at the rev counter - 7000 in top is 187 mph! And that is above the take off speed for the Airbus 319 I took Sunday night.

FAQ info from the GoPro site.

The two entries at the bottom of the list may (or may not) be of use.

I also assume that this link on the MW site provides a connection to teh latest greatest software available for Win 7. (But who knows, it doesn't really seem to tell us much.)

One of the Morgan guys in 6hrs was offered a go in a T70 on the test day. Not sure who's it was, but even driving gently he saw 160 on the straight.....

Have to say the M1 looks very well planted on that video!
