Who's your driver of the day then in todays crazy wet races?
Let me know if your man isn't in the poll |

In a display of total bias, I vote Alain Menu for winning in a Chevy!

I voted for Yvan Muller, who never fails to impress me with his impeccable racecraft and car control.
Although I understand that a Race Two incident involving he and Dirk Muller is under investigation, so I may end up with oeuf on my visage. |

IMO there isn't a driver who's THE driver of the day but Thompson was the most consistent with two 3rd places so I vote for him.

Yvan, the leading rookie.
New car and championship and he's already hit his stride. |

Menu for me Good pedalling in an unfancied car.
Special mention for O'Brien too - for parking his car in the same gravel trap twice in one day (and me having the camera handy both times ). |

Menu for me. Taking Chevvys first win, keeping it on the island in those appauling conditions when even the likes of Priaulx were throwing it away. Shame for Andy, had the pace car not have been called, he might have won the race. Maybe he should have just carried on round and joined the back of the field when it missed him and picked Menu up!
Is it just me, or did Yvan Muller get away with overtaking Dirk Muller under Yellow flag conditions after Costa span off? I definitely saw waved yellows the lap afterwards. Lucky sod! |

Well, we were told the race officials were looking at videos of it, but nothing else came out of it (so far).

the racing was good .. it was good that it was wet . but on the other hand .. the Alfas would've been more competitive in the dry driver of the day . between Menu, Terting for Race 1 . and of course Yvan Last edited by Dani Filth; 26 May 2006 at 19:17. |
