Monkey Head should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2007 Japanese F3 silly season

I think this thread can be start now in case defending champion TOM'S signed with Oliver Jarvis

http://www.crash.net/news_View~t~Jar...~id~141233.htm

his teamate should be is Oshima/Matsumura and 06 Formula Toyota Champion Yuki SEKIGUCHI(he must get 07 F3 seat at least, whatever the team)

Macau outstanding driver Asmer almost certain to join ThreeBond racing as leader.

For Honda Squad just sure that they will give up Devlopment in Dome chassic
is TSUKAKOSHI going to race in Euroseries?

INGING Motorsport.....I heard some remour Streit continue his 3rd year

I've been mocked for making this type of remark already, but never mind. I predict that Oli Jarvis will be the 2007 All-Japan Formula 3 Champion!

Getting the TOM'S drive, without even having to test in the car, really is a dream ticket. You only have to look at the list of previous winners here.

Oli will have to live out in Japan, which not everyone finds easy, but, judging by his recent performances in A1GP for Team GBR, he feels quite at home in the far east.

Back to topic, 'm quite interested about what the Dome team will do.
Now that they've returned to the Dallara chassis, they'll be able to fight for the title again I guess.

and most important is TSUKAKOSHI stay in team

in personal view that is not ecomonic for Honda Squad that buy a new chassis race for a year only, even though it can sells to Asian or other place easily...

You're right, but the $$ factor is not an overwhelming problem for the Honda squad IMHO

I wouldn't be so sure about that. If both Tsukakoshi and Oshima are staying on for another season, it will be very tough to beat them. They both beat drivers like Carbone and Asmer in their rookie seasons...

I wonder what will become of the Dome F107's then? Quick cars. Knowing Dome they will end up languishing under the wind tunnel.

Will the drivers follow the honda ladder into FNippon with Aguri Arta though?

While I'm not going to make predictions about Jarvis' success, I would say that I rate him higher than either of those two.

I'm surprised he went for this championship rather than going to the WSR with Carlin. Two seasons there and his career would be right on track...

What I was trying to say is that we shouldn't be fooled into underestimating the competition in Japan. Look at Jonny Reid - he struggled this season in Japanese F3 and now he's an A1GP winner.

Oshima and Tsukakoshi will not be a pushover, especially as Oshima will be in his second year with TOM'S, will be comfortable with the team, knows the circuits, the tyres etc etc. And Tsukakoshi was quicker than both Jarvis and Oshima in Macau, driving with a team that was new to him (Prema).

Let's put it another way: even if Jarvis only finishes in the top four (if you factor in Asmer as well) it will be no disgrace and he would likely get offered a second season to go for the title in 2008.

Once their chassis is abandoned by Honda, I honestly can't see them keeping such an investment alive; they'll expectably just quit the project and focus on something else.
