Redracer77 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Open Grand Prix at Wigan for FF1600 drivers

A few of us of doing an Open Pro Kart Grand Prix at 3 Sisters in Wigan on Monday night as part of our Dubai 24 hour build up in 2 weeks time. If any FF1600 drivers or friends would like to join us, it starts at 7.30pm (floodlights) and costs £35

The more the merrier. Please PM me if you would like to come or call Wigan direct.

What a chance for you to drive the circuit shown on Blue Peter today. Also a chance to whup Peter Dempsey's ass, as I believe he is coming over - mind you, he'll need to be allocated a seriously bad kart for that to happen

Speaking of F1 cars and speed - I saw a report in the week that the B.A.R. Honda has officially gone the fastest. 255MPH in F1 spec. Although they are using the F1 spec lightly. The thing had no rear wing just what appeared to be an end plate slap bang in the centre of where the rear wing would be. In end elevation it looked correct but from every other angle it looked stupid.

Slight problem tonight as another group booked for 6 for the 7.30pm session so that is already full.

If you have NOT booked already for the 7.30pm then you need to call Wigan to book into the 6.30pm

I have block booked 4 spaces in the 6.30pm session if people want them just in case

1st Duncan Webb - FL 52.14
2nd Steve Smith - FL 52.15
3rd Neil Boardman - FL 51.68
4th Chris Hodgen - FL 51.75
5th David Marshall - FL 52.51
6th Kart 10 (not sure driver!) - FL 53.06
7th Peter Dempsey - FL 51.65

Race 2 - very wet!!

1st Steve Smith
2nd Kart 8
3rd Chris Hodgen
4th Andy Meyrick
5th Peter Dempsey
6th David Marshall
7th Neil Patten

FL = Fastest Lap
