ELMS cancels Salzburgring race

http://www.speedvision.com/pub/artic...d/010521b.html

obviously a race should not be staged a track which does not meet fia safetly specs, but it appears race cancellations are occurring far too often for alms/elms. For the right reasons, yes, and one or two cancellations can bne chalked up to circumstance, but with all the problems, you have to wonder if they have padded the schedule to look better to potential sponsors, to make the series appear healthier than they are. while this might help in the short term, i think it is worse in the long run, cause sponsors signing up to do X races and then finding out for their money they are getting one less, it might leave a sour taste in thier mouths, espeically if they are new to motorsport.
