I agree with you though, where the heck are they going to put 30 plus GP3 cars??? Surely this will be instead of another race? |

anyone care to guess what percentage of a 2013 gp2 budget this would represent?
http://tentenths.com/news/showentry.php?e=2789 it's a start though - until the organisers are willing to make it more of a significant bonus though i'm not sure it'll make a big difference. |

As you say it's a start and as such must be welcomed.
What we need is a prize fund lower down the food chain so as to help get drivers into GP3 in the first place. Whatever happened to prize money? You used to get a few quid even in a Formula Ford clubbie once, all of a sudden it dissapeared! Sounding like Uncle Albert now..... |

let's take fford, if there was a winner takes all bonus that represented say, 60-75% of what was needed to compete in that round, what sort of cost would that have needed to be in 2011? (i'm not taking gp3 as an example because a realistic budget that hasn't been dropped to below cost to get drivers is quite difficult to come by) |

Ethan Ringel signed with Atech GP, actually he was the first confirmed signing for the 2012 season. But before Atech GP signed him, I had never heard of him.

Robert Visoiu will graduate to GP3 with Jenzer Motorsport.
Seems to have had a decent first season in cars with Jenzer in F.Abarth last year. He will also race in Italian F3 for Ghinzani. |

Small correction - Fabiano Machado. Reigning SudAm F3 champion, so perhaps some potential there.

GP3 twitter mentions there will be two driver announcements today. My guess that are Ellinas at Manor (as mentioned above) and Vicky Piria at Trident.
