Where is Tom Ferrier??

Anybody know what has happend to Tom Ferrier lately??
Seems to me that everyone has forgotten that he out qualified Tim (the fat boy) Harvey on every outing last year in that there Alfa 147!

I think he may get a drive in the 2nd Edenbridge BMW as Jamie Davies is going to race a Ferrari in GT's. But he may also drive a 2nd Alfa 147 when GR get it ready.

If he has got any sense he would spend any money he has on an ETCC drive. What could he achieve in Production? Even if he won it, which he could, would it get him a Touring drive in 2003? It didn't do, Harrison, Kaye or Moen any good did it? The only seat left is with GR in the 147 and he knows what that is like. He would be better off in the ETCC and trying for a Touring drive in 2003.(That's if there are any seats left).

I dont think we will see him this year. Bit of a shame cause he has a good character to have around the circuits. What options are there left for him in ETCC? Must agree he would have won the production championship this year, after racing against Cox, Morbidelli and the like, what has he got to prove against some of the 'pay and drive'people that are in the BTCC??

Err, isn't Ferrier a pay and drive guy?
Last I heard he was doing ETCC with Edenbridge.

I don't think that he paid for the Alfa drive last year.

Anyway, who isn't a pay and drive guy?

According to to the bit in Motorsport News, the reason Edenbridge didn't sign Ferrier was because he had a drive elsewhere.

He has been rumoured as being re-united with the Alfa 147 at GR Motorsport, but I don't think he has the funds to complete the season, so expect sporadic outings as per last year.

On another point I think GR will go from driver to driver as they are a team traditionally funded by paying driver's as opposed to team sponsors.
