Thanks 750

What a great weekend!

Great racing (as always) and lovely people.

We were horribly short staffed in the pit lane but I'd just like to say thanks to all the team personnel for clearing themselves off the pit wall without being told, prior to the races - much appreciated.

Yes Sheila, I agree, 'great weekend'. I know this is a 'marshals' forum but thanks to all the co-operation from the drivers/teams in being patient in a hectic holding area. Also, thanks to the sun for giving me a great sun-tan!!! Sayes she with a sore sun burnt and very red face.

Only did the Saturday but what a day.

I know it was a late finish but the three Stock Hatch races made up for that.

Keep up the good work 750. My next meeting with you is the next time ypu are at Brand Hatch.

Excellent racing with very good grids.
Lousy atmosphere as there were not enough Marshals to make it fun (That's not to say that my two colleagues were lousy!!)
Had my fill with Donington now, it just doesn't get better!

Good save Mark, I'll try and be more entertaining next time.

Great weekend, both racing and weather, and the meeting went well despite a lack of marshals. Certainly made manning a post interesting, with just a course and a trainee flag, but that only meant some good experience was gained.

Thanks 750 for a cracking weekend.

Thanks to all the marshals for their help and tollerance at the weekend. I turned up at sign on with very few names on the list and a few names from the wife regarding cancellations. This led to me tearing my hair out - but had to try and find some. (hair that is).
However, everyone worked well, many in unfamiliar jobs, and it seemed to go well.
I understand that the driver taken to hospital on Sunday was back at the circuit later without significant injury.
I am now resting with very weak legs after walking up and down the assembly area for two days. At least, I think it was the walking that make my legs weak.
Thank Nicky (NJF) for your help there.

mmm Legs, weak, Nicky, - I'll think about that??

Glad you all had a good time, but if 750MC are suffering with too few marshals God help the other clubs. Could it possibly be that within an hour's drive you had Donington with a two day meeting, Silverstone with a three day meeting, and Mallory on Sunday. There's only so much orange (and black) to go round. When will the MSA wake up and start making clubs/circuits think about dates?
