Ian - Well if Gavin would like to surrender his points so far then I am more than willing!

I should point out:
The problems we have had are in no way related to the Ray chassis (which is fantastic) or to Neil Bold. We have gone 3 years without any electrical problems or mechanical failure (Oulton '03 apart) and now the law of averages are catching up with us Its down to not enough testing and worn out engine ancillaries (which have now been replaced).

All in all a **** start to the season which has now left me with a deficit which is impossible to recover. NW means a lot more travelling for us, but hay-ho at least I can start a fresh in the most friendly championship

Justin you look like you has as many problems as me this weekend.......

Car was a dream all weekend in the handling department but the engine is a joke - Duncan said that the Pi is great and it stands out a mile I was exiting some of the corners up to 9mph faster than my team mate who then ended up 5mph faster by the end of the straight.....and that was with him braking 100 yards before me so I even had a theoretically longer straight!!!

I was 1.4 seconds a lap slower than the first day I ever tested a FF1600.....

At least with the NWFF you have only missed one round Justin?

But also a lot more travelling... I know the Dempseys would be delighted if Justin did MSV though.

Need the time out to sort the engine John, May the seveth is a push! So that counts out MSV and as Ian said travelling time is a joke for that!

Maybe you could come back and win at Mallory in the Edwina Overend Memorial Trophy - which sadly clashes with an SCSA meeting...

I think you would have struggled to win by yourself - you would have retired (sixth gear jumping out and engine lapsing onto 7 cylinders)!

I have to admit it was abig dissapointmnet to hear Justin spluttering around so early in both races...like you say law of averages. Racing for championship's sucks anyway

John had a good race 2, looked a lot more comfortable and racy
