MGB Cylinder Head

Bit of a long-shot really but has anyone heard of or know of anyone buying an 18v type Longman modified B Head recently please.
It is a Full Race Head and has the initials TB stampped on the top face of the rocker cover facing.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Sounds more like a one-off special - 18 valve! Crikey, that's four and a half valves per cylinder!, and reading between the lines, perhaps someone has it that shouldn't!

or, did anyone buy at Beaulieu or stoneleigh a nicely prepared 18v head (the reinforced Leyland FIA pre 65ones made in 1977) with a grinded away lower spot on the top face of the rocker cover facing????, so your engine runs like a rocket but the rockercovergasket always leaks, then you need to phone Terry!

Got it in one R59,I was told it was 'F****d',it wont take any season mate!
As I have known and dealt with this 'Specialist' for a good few years,I was foolish enough to trust his word, never had any reason not to. Next thing I hear is that its been cleaned up and sold on as a 'New Longman Head'!!
So,he's scored a double over me,first he palms me off with a shagged Burgess Fast Road Head,[I had actully never seen what I'd bought,it wasn't till I sent the last head back to Burgess that I found out that in fact I had bought a totally un-used new head,un-seen from someone I know just would not rip anyone off.]
So now I am £350 out of pocket on the work Pete did to the fast road head, plus whatever this low life made out of the Longman version. Really nice having friends like this!

This sounds like you have been a victim of fraud to me, Terence. Have a word with a solicitor and maybe the police.

The 'seller' is wrong Esper, you at least need one of the blanking tubes and that needs to be central.

Got a serious enquiry on the Grantura, guys on holiday for ten days but has asked if it can be held onto till he returns to home[France]
