Personally, I think this has got to be a media beat up over something Skaife said off the cuff, he's not that thin skinned.

Seems like you have already declared FPR the champions for 2008. The season is not over yet. There's still a lot of racing to go, and the long distance races are usually telling. Now where have FPR been hiding during the endurance races?

Can some one please explain what the world is coming to? im 46 and i have played a lot of sport in my younger days, and still play over 40 footy, and i cant believe the B.S going on these days.

What happened to being men? cant anyone take a mouth full these days? it's going on in all sports. you have grown tough men playing footy belting the hell out of one another and yet if you tell some one something you may or may not have done with a family member last night they run to thier lawyer.

i mean do some of you guys take your lawyer to the pub with you? i have aboriginal blood in me and when a lot of my footy opponents found out i copped it on the field, SO WHAT, i played harder and gave it back. after the games i had a beer with the same guys.

what happens on the field stays on the field.!!!!! before anyone says it, i know it was said on tv. SO WHAT he should retire wow how mean is that. i have had worse said to me by angry school girls.

come on guys what we all need to do is reach down in our pants grab the boys and remember. WE are men.

I'll take a stab at answering... it's not a question about 'being men'. It's about money. People will look to sue others if they stand to gain some sort of handsome sum by doing so. It's a scenario geared to look after the lawyers, the decision makers and the plain rich in society.

Meanwhile, society as a whole is not getting any more mature. You just have to turn on the idiot box and listen to the amount of sex, corruption, the vanity and felony being committed to understand the point I make. The powers that be are in it deep... so what level of trust is filtered down throughout society if all people care about is money and themselves?

I'm very, very disappointed that Skaife is considering his legal options for someone who is isn't exactly a household name in motorsport circles (Tim who?).

Memo to Skaife, don't listen to your managers and stop making the lawyers richer than they already are. Get behind the wheel and get some good race results... that's the best way to quieten your increasing number of critics!!!

When ever I feel a bit down I come on here and read this forum. makes me feel glad that I actually graduated from kindergarten where name telling, bullying and telling porkies was the norm. How you supposedly grown people can resort to such crap writing about subjects you know very little about, slandering and abusing people that you do not have obviously any connection to, and a moderator (?) that seems to lead the pack in personal attacks is beyond me. It seems the more professional that motor racing becomes, the less intelligent and amateur the people on here become. Thats my bit, I wont be surprised if this message gets pulled.
