8:18 by Uwe! The race should be amazing!

I wonder Basseng could have done with his 2nd lap, doing an 8:22, while being behind the Mercedes for 1/2 a lap. I'm thinking he lost like 4 seconds or so on that lap.

Funny, p45 Competizione reports have just setting the fastest Ferrari Lap Time at the ring with 6:51 vs 6:58 of the 599 FXX..

Ok I feel ridiculous asking this, but what time PST will the race be starting? I thought I did the conversion right, but now after looking around I don't think I was accurate. The time difference is 9 hours so it starts at 7am?

Probably only through telemetry traces overlaid onto the track map.

I was thinking about that this morning. Theoretically if you knew how fast a car had been on the GP circuit previously you could take that out of the combined time to get a ballpark figure for the Norschleife.

Ah yeah I forgot about that part of the track they miss. Years ago I remember the M3 GTR were doing the Nordscleife in just over seven minutes (dont remember if it was just an estimate or actually timed) so this years times would have to be faster then that.
