Ferrari back 360 race project.
The Ferrari factory could put their weight behind a works 360 squad. Marenello will build upto 40 models in the next 2 years and there is alot of interest for this proven race winner.

The question would be how much weight ? Are we likely to see Schuie in a 360 at LM?

I think that Ferrari has simply "officially" adopted the Michelotto-JMB project. Michelotto is working with Ferrari since the late 70s, starting with the rally 308 GTB, and played a role in some other interesting projects, so it's just unlikely that Ferrari will leave them in the cold developing and producing the 360GT in house....

I wonder if JMB will continue to develope 'their' version or whether they will switch to the Ferrari customer car, the Ferrari website states that last years championship winning 360 was based on the Ferrari challenge car.
Its also been mentioned that Ferrari will produce 2 versions of the car one for FIA rules and the other for ACO - does anyone know what the actual differences are for GT/N-GT cars between the two - I thought they were tiny. Logan. |
