Selling a car

Can anyone recommend a good place to advdertise a car for sale? I have a Pug 205 GTi for sale but I'm not sure where is the best place to advertise.

It would be good for a track day car or for conversion to a sprint or race car.

Suggestions please?

Sheila

As usual it might be worth trying ebay, it's fairly cheap and gives you the best possible exposure. Robert

eBay seems to work well these days.

Isn't it free to advertise on the Autotrader website? (i.e. you only pay to put it in the magazine).

If it's in poor cosmetic condition for a road car, you could try Motoring News as a potential track/sprint project? Probably get less for it though.

Thanks for your help boys. We're going to be at Mallory on Sunday so I'll so a "for sale" poster to stick up somewhere there. I'm sure it would make a project for racing or sprinting for someone.

or maybe a project for midlands rescue unit to practise on! only joking, ebay seems the way to buy and sell nearly anything these days, and without all the hassle of actually advertising and selling stuff.

Seems like the general concensus is to try ebay. Never tried it yet so this could be fun! How do I go about it?

Graham, I'm ignoring your comments about the unit practising on it!!
