A 1/6 scale working model of a Chevrolet 327 cu in V8.

The coin in the pictue is a US 25¢ piece (commonly called a `Quarter' as it is ¼ of one Dollar) and it's approximate Ø is 0.93 inches or 23mm)

Computer Crazy

Click HERE and a playing card will appear on your screen... wait a few moments for it to load, then scroll down below the card and you will see a line that has a little red slider bar in it. Move the slider gradually to the right and stop and watch the show take place, then move it a little more to the right and stop and another show will take place and keep doing this till you are to the end. The marvel of technology.

Have you got www.uncyclopedia.org in this thread yet? I must stress that it does contain coarse language, some sexual references and crude humour but if anyone finds that to be their sort of funny, go there.

I hope I don't get in trouble for this.

Seems worthy of at least one Trumpet Fanfare.

Make use of the buttons at the bottom of the picture zoom in and out, to pan around, up and down. You can also drag the image with your mouse. Whoever made this was incredibly talented.

I wouldn't have seen it if I didn't believe it.

It is a GIGAPIXEL image.

I had never thought about people that built these lighthouses. I had thought about the stormy seas and the brave folks that worked and lived in them. What a video.

Video of the Day: The high seas can be dangerous. Ships aren’t the only things in harms way. These lighthouses are amazing

This great YouTube video shows some amazing architecture. For centuries, lighthouses were used to mark hazardous coastlines. Some magnificent lighthouses can be found in France.

Some of these ornate structures are built on small rocky outcroppings. So, they are actually out in the sea. It’s hard to imagine the dangers of building such a structure. Especially when you see the weather they have to endure.

These lighthouses are bashed by incredible waves. The water completely engulfs the building. Even more unbelievable, those lighthouses have people in them!

GLUB .

What we may find interesting is that although that appeared to be stormy weather, it was pretty normal for those regions. The Atlantic is very harsh.
