New Astra

Was launched at the Geneva Motor show, don't know when the car will go into production, but does anyone know vauxhalls, plans for the touring car??
It was a new opel astra, but i presume it will mean a new vauxhall astra aswell.
would vauxhall change the car half way through a season, or even at the end of the season, as the current car has proven that the chassais is perfect for this championship.?

Anyone have pics of the '04 Astra? Will it share the same platform with the North American GM cars. There seems to be on again off again rumors. I thought I saw spy pics which seem to suggest the Astra looks a lot like the Saturn Ion sold over here in NA.

Another non-descript lump of ugliness that could have any badge on the front.... have they started consumer clinics again?

Could this be the general shape/idea for the '04 Astra saloon?? I thought I saw a drawing of the '94 Astra saloon that resembled the Saturn profile. And rumors do suggest they will be very similar.
